The museum serves as his place of business to sell grass-fed beef and continues to be operated by his grandson, Hunter North.īenny was known as a devout husband, father, grandfather and Christian. After retirement, he was able to establish his long-awaited cow farm and Museum, Tarkil Branch Farm’s Homestead Museum. When not working, he enjoyed tending the family farm, volunteering as a Boy Scout Leader, serving as a member of the Duplin County Historical Society and a member of the Duplin County Tourism group. Benny served as a deacon many years within the church and gave his life to Christ in early childhood.īenny worked at Dupont in Kinston until his retirement in 1999. Benny and Annette were married at Beulaville Baptist Church and attended Cedar Fork Baptist Church as devout members. He had two siblings, both deceased, DH Fountain and Lurlene Fountain.īenny graduated from Chinquapin High and met his wife, Annette, a local from Beulaville. Benny had five wonderful grandchildren: Paige Fountain, Kendric Fountain, Landon Hall, Hunter North and Leah North.īorn and raised in Beulaville, NC (Cedar Fork Area), Benny was the son of David and Ludie Fountain. Cavenaugh, Christopher Cavenaugh, Kayla Pfaff, Patrick Southerland, Brailee Southerland and 11 great grandchildren. of Beulaville two sons, Billy Bowen and wife Farrah of Chinquapin, Craig Bowen and wife Amanda of Wallace sisters Kathy Strickland, Dotty Carter, and Mary Jane Futrell all of Wallace brother Jimmy Sheffield of Wallace 14 grandchildren, Robert Bowen, Clayton Bowen, Payton Henderson, Matthew Bowen, Joel Bowen, Matthew Bracken, Mia Schroeder, Ashley Turner, Rian Cavenaugh, A. Bowen is survived by two daughters, Lesia Cavenaugh and husband Brian of Wallace, Melanie Southerland and husband G. She was preceded in death by an infant son Robert Travis Bowen and parents James and Dorothy Sheffield. Patricia Lee Bowen, age 74, died Wednesday, at her home.
